Cost of the tour
UGX 320,000/= per person
The above covers accommodation for 6nights, park entrance, entrance and guiding at factories and other destinations, car hire, meals for 7 days and all transfers from the time you leave school until you return.
Exclusions:
Personal expenses like; telephone calls, entertainment to clubs, beers etc.

Day 1 Fort portal
Transfer from your school driving westwards passing through the well terraced hills of Uganda. Before have lunch in Mubende town and then proceed to fort portal.
Proceed to Nyakasura village and have a resume about the Batooro culture take a look at the mysteries of the Amabere caves with both stalagmites and stalactites, traditionally believed to have fade Ndahura king of Bachwezi dynasty, the place has a lot to offer to you including the beautiful sceneries with crater lakes such as Kigere, Kabikere, Saaka Akaitabalogo , get involved in a traditional folk at Nyakasura as you discover history of the country. Dinner and sleep in fort portal town.
Day2 Rwenzori Tea Estate
After breakfast we head to a tea plantation known as Rwenzori tea commodities, see the tea farms and get a grip on how tea is processed through interviews with the factory staff or destination guide, the garden is mild for panoramic drawings and views, photography. Here students get to know the influence of relief on human activities and this is not only for commemoration of the field but students are also assessed on it in their geographical syllabus.
Return to fort portal town for lunch and en-route to Kasese for 71km via Bundibugyo.dine and sleep in Kasese town (white house lodge/Saad hotel)
Day 3 Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning move to Queen Elizabeth national park with parked lunch for a game drive where you be able to view a lot of bio diversity among which include antelopes grazing in the savannah grass lands buffaloes and the guides nature walk will reward you as you be able to see buffaloes, elephants, lions, baboons in the trees of Maramagambo forest. In the afternoon after you have had your delicious packed lunch, we take you for a boat drive to kazinga channel with greatest animal experience with hippos, elephants, crested cranes, and a lot of other birds’ species .Drive back to Kasese for an overnight and diner.
Day 4 Kilembe mines and cobalt industries
Visit Kilembe mines world’s famous copper mines in the world which is no longer working emphasis put on the cobalt factory, which shall also be visited today
Day 5 Mount Rwenzori
Another day of wonders and bigger experience as you will be moved lo mountains of the moon the only mountain with glacial features in Uganda known for its snow cape .students benefit from the academic perspective as they come to see the various vegetation types in mountainous areas, know the influence of relief on human activities and they can also participate mount climbing especially on the foot hills but we shall be unable to hike to marguerite as it takes more seven to eight days trail to reach the peak. Take a look at the glacial features and Rwenzori has good place for photography. Return to ruboni student’s hostel or ruboni community camp site.
Day 6 Hima cement and Lake Katwe.
Discover the secrets about the one and only salty lake, get to know the process in which salt is extracted and processed and later tour the Hima cement factory, these places are good to inspire those who want to pursue industrial chemistry.
Dinner and sleep in Kasese town
Day 7 Bye to Kasese and head to Kitagata hot springs.
Early in the morning transfer to Bushenyi district. Its 86km from Kasese to Bushenyi and 15 km from Bushenyi to Kitagata a place popularly known for Kitagata hot springs believed to treat the sick and hot baths by the local pilgrim .at around 12:00noon, drive back to Kampala have a stopover in Mbarara and have lunch en-route reaching Kampala in the early evening.
